Hi, I’m Niels Bom. I help developers, data scientists and organizations get better at using their digital tools.

I’ve been working in IT since 2007 in both small and large organisations. I have a background in computer science and psychology. My motto in work, and life in general, is “Always ready to help”.

In most roles I’ve had I gravitate towards investigating new tools, making tools, writing documentation and refactoring existing code. I resonate strongly with Stephen Covey’s story of “sharpening the saw” applied to programming.

In 2018 I started freelancing and focused mainly on mentoring/coaching. From 2019 until 2023 I’ve done a lot of work for Winc Academy: as a teacher, course developer and managing a team of teachers and mentors.
